Architecture and Design Firm ADD Inc Begins $40 Million Dollar Renovation of Southgate Towers in Miami Beach, FL
(PRWEB) January 09, 2014 -- The award-winning architecture and design firm ADD Inc has commenced on a $40 million dollar renovation of the bayfront Southgate Towers apartment buildings located at 900 and 910 West Avenue in Miami Beach. Architect Jonathan Cardello, Principal – Director of ADD Inc in Miami, leads the renewal project of the two-tower building that will include a new façade, 495 newly designed residences, lobby and ground floor amenities plus the addition of pool cabanas, a restaurant and retail spaces.
A brand new look for Southgate Towers will be in place when it’s completed in 2015. Both towers will feature a façade enriched in colors of blue and white and balconies with new glass rails and perforated aluminum screens. The lobby, which is located between the two buildings, will be completely revitalized with a glass wall providing sweeping views of the pool and bay, stylish furniture and fixtures and a new hospitality lounge. The ground-floor clubroom and fitness center will be renovated with the addition of a workout room that can be used for yoga or personal training.
All of the residences in Southgate Towers including penthouses, one- and two-bedroom and studio apartments will have new carpeting in the bedrooms, porcelain tile in the living areas and bathrooms, recessed lighting fixtures, European-style cabinetry, washers/dryers and hurricane-proof windows. Modern amenities such as Wolf/Sub Zero appliances, stone kitchen counters and whirlpool tubs will be added to the three-bedroom penthouses.
