Arena Americas Receives Two NACE ISES Chicago Excellence Awards
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) April 22, 2015 -- The N.I.C.E. Awards were established fourteen years ago to recognize Chicago area members of NACE (National Association of Catering and Events) and ISES (International Special Events Society) for their accomplishments within the special events industry. Arena Americas was awarded Best Use of Tenting for Chrome at the Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee, WI and Best NICE Team Event for the AFR Open House in Chicago, IL. Arena was a nominee in a third category, Best Use of Rental Equipment, for the Chicago Marathon.
Arena worked closely with the Harley-Davidson Museum to design a temporary event space modeled after the industrial look of the museum itself. The three season tent features horizontal tinted glass windows, custom silver-grey vinyl, carpeted floors, hydraulic doors, ceiling liners, HVAC for climate control and a sound proof interior divider wall that can be closed to allow two events to take place simultaneously. The 14,000 square foot custom clearspan structure can accommodate groups up to 700.
Arena partnered with AFR Event Furnishings to provide tenting for their open house event in Chicago, IL. As guests arrived they were led to the entrance through a custom 10’ x 20’ walkway tent that featured AFR’s event logo. The tent served as protection against inclement weather and added a personalized flair to the event.
Arena Americas has been in the US since 1966 and supports a variety of events including some of the most prestigious sporting, corporate and private events in the country including NFL Super Bowl, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and the US Open.
