Army Veteran, Widow Shares How God’s Guidance Saw Her through Tragedy
WAKE FOREST, N.C. (PRWEB) July 06, 2017 -- In “God, Country, Golf: Reflections of an Army Widow” (published by WestBow Press), author Wesley Hobbs Bauguess shares the gift of God’s guidance through a lifetime. In her spiritual memoir, the author reflects upon her childhood in Florida, her time as a collegiate golfer for Appalachian State University in North Carolina, the various locations she served in the Army and the loss of her husband Larry during a deployment in Pakistan.
Bauguess’ story speaks of a woman who learns through a series of triumphs and life-altering personal tragedies that God has set a lesson plan through her experiences. Though her life would be forever changed, Bauguess discovered that she already had the tools necessary to overcome grief and forge a path for others to seek counsel from the Lord.
She adds, “The lessons I learned at church, in the Army and on the golf course had shaped my character, instilling patience and resilience.”
Through it all, Bauguess rejoices in the peace that she found when her life’s foundation was centered in Christ.
