Art of Dentistry Partners with Emilio Nares Foundation, Gives Back to San Diego, CA Community
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) March 07, 2018 -- The Art of Dentistry decided to skip their Secret Santa gift exchange this past Christmas and instead “adopt” a family in need through the Emilio Nares Foundation. After receiving the family’s wish list, the 15 team members purchased and wrapped their gifts before presenting them to the family of seven. This team is led by San Diego, CA dentists, Drs. Lawrence Addleson, R. Douglas Campbell and David Landau who provide highly specialized care for patients in need of general, implant, and cosmetic dentistry services.
The San Diego-based Emilio Nares Foundation was founded to provide low-income families with sick children with the transportation they need to and from the hospital for life-saving cancer treatment. Today the non-profit organization is made up of volunteer drivers and support staff for their family resource center, free craft classes, care package services, and end-of-life child and family care. Since its birth, the Emilio Nares Foundation has provided nearly 4,000 rides, tallied over 100,000 miles, and transported over 200 hundred patients to 2,000 appointments.
