Art Prodigy Santana Draper’s Artwork Selected to Be Focus of RCA’s Annual Birth Month Art Exhibit in September
Houston, TX (PRWEB) August 21, 2014 -- Santana Draper – young visual and performance artist, entrepreneur and philanthropist - has been chosen to be one of the highlighted artists for RCA’s Annual Birth Month Art Exhibit “Creatia” in September. This event celebrates creativity and collaboration through the exhibition of a body of paintings and other mixed-media artworks from artists who have impacted and inspired RCA. Public artist, Reginald C. Adams, curates the work for this annual event.
“I’m honored and humbled to have my work chosen for this special event. I view Mr. Adams as a role model and mentor. He inspires me to be a better artist and person, recognizing what innovation and creativity can bring to the world. Helping different communities in Houston through our artwork is something we both believe in strongly,” says Santana. Santana’s clothing company, PaperToy, donates a portion of their profits to Houston’s Kids’ Meals Inc., the wheels on meals program for low-income, pre-school age children.
RCA’s Annual Birth Month Art Exhibit “Creatia” will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2014 from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm at the RCA Gallery Space, 1113 Vine Street, Houston, TX 77002.
