To soften rooms with more than three textures, the article advises designers and homeowners to add plants or wall décor to make everything come together.
3. Be bold. Just like fashion, it’s always good to have an accent color. “Don’t be afraid of being color courageous when combining textures,” the article says. “Splashes of bold colors in statement pieces will add dramatic impact to a room.”
