As Seen at NRF16: Retail Pro® Technology Innovations for Customer-Centric Omnichannel
Folsom, CA (PRWEB) January 28, 2016 -- Retail Pro International – by virtue of its own continuous innovation with the cross-environment/unified Retail Pro Prism® platform – empowers mid- and top-tier specialty retailers to proactively manage their retail strategy and processes in 2016, staying ahead of disruptive market trends like mobility and omnichannel.
“Our team has made great strides through Retail Pro Prism’s innovative future-proof design and approach. It is the versatile platform that caters to every retailer’s vision, need, and strategy. Going mobile? Would you like Apple, Windows, or Android devices for that? Going omnichannel? Retail Pro Prism gives you granular visibility into the myriad data from all of your channels, stores, devices, and integrated solutions. Whatever retailers are pursuing and creating in their retail operations and customer engagement strategy, Retail Pro Prism has the flexibility to do it,” said Retail Pro International CEO, Kerry Lemos.
Lemos and his team of Retail Pro International executives led retailers at NRF 2016 in the conversation on how they can implement their strategies for differentiation efficiently and profitably, with the extensible Retail Pro retail management platform.
“They listen to retailers and are committed to innovation. Years and years of expert adaptation and intelligent reinvention make Retail Pro the perfect solution to run my business,” said Tom Nelson, Executive VP for Rimowa Distribution, another of Retail Pro International’s 2015 wins.
Here is a brief overview of what retailers can accomplish with the 2015 innovations to the Retail Pro Prism platform, as seen at NRF.
• In-store mobility – The Retail Pro Prism app supports Apple’s iOS 9 along with Windows and Android devices. Portrait layout in the Retail Pro Prism user interface gives greater ease when accessing the software on small mobile devices like the iPod Touch or Honeywell Captuvo SL-22.
• Omnichannel order fulfillment – Retail Pro Prism allows associates to create sales at one location and fulfill the order at any other location, as part of retailers’ BOPIS, Click and Collect and other omnichannel offerings.
• On-hand inventory availability lookup – With inventory visibility that goes deep into a particular store (within a single bin or shelf) or enterprise-wide, sales associates can look up product availability and validate items by their inventory image straight from the POS. Retailers can tie this visibility to their e-commerce site and allow shoppers to reserve items from the nearest store.
• Customer-centric flexibility at the POS – Sales associates have easy access to POS options, including transaction lookup, pending transactions, central customer lookup, gift card balance check, promotions, and customer tax assignments and rebates.
