As Temperatures Drop, MRI Software Assists Those in Need
Cleveland, Ohio (PRWEB) December 05, 2013 -- Every year, MRI Software partners with several organizations that strive to make the world a better place. As of September 2013, MRI had worked with four organizations and raised over $7000 for their causes. To wrap up the final quarter, the Cleveland-based property management software provider helped an additional three groups:
Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Fund
The Susan G. Komen organization cites itself as “the boldest community fueling the best science and making the biggest impact in the fight against breast cancer.” Aggregating over $2 billion in donations, Susan G. Komen diligently works to cure breast cancer throughout the world through research, community outreach, advocacy and programs in over 50 countries. In one short week, MRI raised $775 for this organization.
Movember
Movember is responsible for the sprouting countless moustaches on men's faces across the world. Seeking to have a lasting impact on men’s health, Movember encourages men to grow their “Mo” throughout the entire 30 days of November. In doing so, vital funds and awareness are raised to combat prostate and testicular cancer, as well as mental health challenges. MRI Software raised close to $1200 for this worthy cause, along with growing several impressive mustaches. Interested parties can make a donation to MRI Software’s team and view pictures of the resulting facial hair by visiting the Movember website. Donations are accepted year round.
Adopt a Family
The Adopt a Family Association was formed as a short-term support resource to Greater Cleveland area families in unfortunate socioeconomic positions. Families that are working to maintain a stable home environment for their children as they overcome these circumstances can obtain assistance to help them get back on their feet. MRI Software will be participating in the charity’s Christmas program, in which participants buy toys and necessities for needy children, ensuring that they have a fun holiday. MRI is currently working to give six local families a Christmas to remember!
