As UK Housing Prices Soar, Easy Relocation Offers Guidance

To highlight the fast growth, the average price for a UK property is currently £239,000, according to the Office for National Statistics house price index—that’s an increase from £233,000 in December and £229,000 in May of last year.
All eleven regions in Britain are seeing average property value increase by at least 2 percent over the period, the first time this has happened since the 2008 downturn.
The biggest increase in values was in the East Midlands where values increased just over 2.8 percent. Yorkshire and the Humber were the second best performing regions (2.8 percent) followed by Wales (2.72 percent). All three of those regions saw bigger rises than London (2.71 percent).
