ASC Signal Doubles Mission Capabilities Across Its Satellite Antenna Line with Dual X/Ka-band, Low-PIM Feed Systems
Plano, TX, USA (PRWEB) July 15, 2013 -- With the introduction of a new, dual-band feed system for the company’s 9.4m antenna, ASC Signal Corporation has extended dual X- and Ka-band capabilities across its full line of earth station antenna systems. Now, ASC has expanded the versatility of its feed systems by incorporating low-PIM (passive intermodulation) designs that prevent X-band transmit and receive frequencies from interfering with each other on the same antenna.

The ASC Signal line of antennas also incorporates patented innovations including sub-reflector tracking (SRT) technology and advanced environmental control systems, along with its monopulse feed system and ASC’s Next Generation Controller (NGC). The SRT provides 6-axis tracking of the satellite beam while actively compensating for thermal distortion caused by changes in temperatures at the earth station location.
