ASRW Attendees Invited to Compete in the ‘Perfect Repair Challenge’; Glass Mechanix Brings Education, Certification, Resources to Attendees
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) July 18, 2013 -- Automotive Service & Repair Week (ASRW) will host Glass Mechanix Solutions’ Perfect Repair Challenge this year – an event for all ASRW attendees. ASRW will take place Thursday and Friday, Oct. 17-18, with education beginning Wednesday, Oct. 16, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
Glass Mechanix, a new exhibitor at ASRW, offers business owners and automotive industry leaders access to more than 40 years of windshield repair and replacement experience. Attendees will have access to hands-on repair training and coaching on the show floor; information and support in setting up their shops with insurance networks for processing windshield repair/glass claims; a free technician certification class; and unlimited support from the Glass Mechanix executive team.
“Glass Mechanix Solutions is privileged to work with ASRW in their joint efforts to improve the quality of automotive services. The ASRW attendees are professionals who take pride in their work. We hope to help them add windshield repair revenue to their business, maintain a high level of quality repairs performed across the nation, and build long-lasting relationships that go beyond equipment or resin sales,” said Josh McCooey, Glass Mechanix Solutions COO.
The Perfect Repair Challenge
Glass Mechanix Solutions will also host a contest in its booth for all ASRW attendees called the Perfect Repair Challenge. Attendees will have unlimited opportunities throughout the show to participate in the Perfect Repair Challenge by repairing windshield damage.
The Glass Mechanix team will have a scorecard for each break, quantifying the difficulty of the damage and the quality of the repair. Customer interaction, education about the process and time will also play a small, subjective roll during the judging process. At the conclusion of the show on Friday, Oct. 18, Glass Mechanix will announce the winners of the challenge. The first place winner will receive a Daytona Repair System ($800 value); the second place winner will receive a Glass Mechanix gift certificate for $100 and an iPod; and third prizewinner will receive a Glass Mechanix gift certificate for $100.
