Ito brings more than 30 years of experience in developing, structuring and implementing innovative financial and business strategies for both publicly traded and privately held companies worldwide.
Ito was most recently CFO for Allegro Development Corporation, a Dallas-based global leader in energy trading and risk management software solutions, where he oversaw record financial performance in 2014: a 23 percent increase in revenue and more than 30 percent EBITDA year-over-year increase compared to 2013. He previously served as CFO for INTTRA, the world’s largest multi-carrier network for the ocean shipping industry; at Ariba, the world’s business commerce network combining industry-leading cloud-based applications with the world's largest Internet-based trading community; and CFO of Quadrem, a global and growth-focused B2B e-commerce company.
Prior to that, Ito spent nearly 18 years with Nortel, a global supplier of end-to-end networking products and solutions for both service providers and enterprise customers, where he served in leadership roles in finance, business planning, and product line management at corporate headquarters and in operating divisions in the US, Canada and Japan.

Ito earned a bachelor’s degree in Engineering at the University of Toronto and an MBA in Finance from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. He also holds the designation of Chartered Professional Accountant, Certified Management Accountant (Ontario, Canada).
