Association of Independent Information Professionals Members Speak at Conferences in San Diego, CA and London, UK

These AIIP members include: Scott Brown, Deb Hunt, Ulla de Stricker, Cindy Shamel and Arthur Weiss.
Special Libraries Association, San Diego Chapter
The Special Libraries Association’s San Diego Chapter Fall Seminar is one of the region’s largest and longest standing professional development opportunities for information professionals. This year's seminar, which will be held on Friday, Oct. 4 in San Diego, features a session on how knowledge audits inform strategic planning by Cindy Shamel, MLS, president of Shamel Information Services (http://www.shamelinfo.com); and a session on video information delivery at Qualcomm by Scott Brown, MA, MLIS, manager of Library Services for Qualcomm, Inc. Both Shamel and Brown are past presidents of AIIP.

Internet Librarian International
Internet Librarian International (ILI) provides information and learning opportunities on the latest trends in technology and innovation for information professionals from all around the world. Held on Oct. 15 and 16 in London, UK, AIIP members presenting or moderating sessions and workshops on a variety of information-related topics include:

Ojala, de Stricker and Hunt all have served on the AIIP board of directors. AIIP is a supporter of the ILI annual conference.
