AssureID.net, Cloud Based Identity Proofing Solutions, Released- AssureTec Announces Extension of AssureID™ and Reveal ID™ with Web Services

AssureID.net allows its business partners to offer clients an alternative to AssureTec’s traditional software suite designed for the desktop. “By untethering our document authentication technology from the desktop, we are enabling clients to more rapidly deploy solutions that leverage AssureTec’s robust service-based infrastructure thereby unlocking thin client and mobile identity proofing solutions,” says Glenn Larson, AssureTec’s Vice President of Product Development. “AssureID.net utilizes state of the art technologies to ensure that the identity proofing process is performed securely and, more importantly, protects the identity and anonymity of the consumer.”
AssureTec will phase in the capabilities associated with AssureID.net as well as the delivery models it will support. Starting in the late second quarter, AssureID.net will be commercially available to its current Business Alliance Partners. This initial release will leverage AssureTec’s AssureID.net cloud services. Qualified partners will be able to access the AssureID.net web services interface to authenticate identity documents scanned on qualified and supported image capture devices. The company plans on releasing updates throughout the summer that will further enable the platform to authenticate documents captured from a variety of mobile devices and supporting a range of services from data capture, data validation and ultimately full identity authentication. A major release aimed for the fourth quarter will expand the software as a service (SaaS) model to include an enterprise-hosted option. “AssureID.net is a dynamic platform that will allow our software to be utilized in new ways, provide privacy by design and help to address real problems in enabling business workflow, enhance productivity and provide added security in a variety of transactions,” commented Stephen Maloney, President.
