ATG Training Opens its Doors to Prospective Apprentices
(PRWEB UK) 26 February 2015 -- ATG Training is currently recruiting apprentices on behalf of these employers and a number of other local companies who are seeking enthusiastic young people to join their high-performing teams. With over forty years’ experience providing a broad range of training modules from its purpose built site, ATG Training is opening the doors of its Future Centre to give potential apprentices the opportunity to take a tour of their purpose-built training facilities and talk to the knowledgeable staff about training courses and the benefits of apprenticeships.
“We want young people and anyone involved in the process of helping them to make career decisions to come to our Open Days. We want to show them the great facilities ATG Training has available to its apprentices,” says Halina Simpson, Chairman and interim Chief Executive of ATG Training. “Businesses are acknowledging that apprenticeships are the way forward; the Government continues to invest in them; so come along to ATG Training and see what we can offer you. We are committed to supporting our apprentices and that support begins during the recruitment stage and application process.”
ATG Training’s apprenticeships cover traditional engineering, electronics and, as well as in service-based occupations such as customer service, logistics, business and management administration. It also provides a wide range of management development programmes. Those attending the open days will not only be able to learn more about apprenticeships and the recognised qualifications that can be attained through ATG Training, they will also be able to meet the employers, find out about the current vacancies and gain help in applying for these exciting positions. They could secure an employed apprenticeship position very quickly.
Bobby Duff is one of the many ATG Training’s success stories. An Intermediate Business and Administration ATG Apprentice with British Converting Solutions, Bobby, received the accolade of ‘Apprentice of the Year 2014’, in a nationwide competition organised by Group Training Associations. “Bobby is a great example of the potential an apprentice has to succeed,” says Halina, “For a young person who wants to build a career, having the opportunity to work for employers like BCS, who are willing to invest in their apprentices, is so valuable.”
