Athena San Diego Presents: Men Who Champion Women, A Signature Series Event
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) February 02, 2016 -- Athena San Diego and title sponsor Qualcomm will host a Signature Series panel event, Men Who Champion Women, on February 18, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. located at the Qualcomm, Irwin M. Jacobs Lecture Hall.
This Signature Series panel will be moderated by Will Marre, a founder of both the Stephen Covey Leadership Institute and SMART Power Institute. Marre will discuss with a panel of experts how male executives are championing inclusion culture for both social and fiscal benefits.
The panel includes:
• Steven Stall, Business Segment Leader of Inclusion from Rockwell Automation: Rockwell Automation has taken a unique approach to culture transformation by engaging white men as change agents. The approach has raised the awareness of the impact of privilege, and has focused on removing barriers to inclusion and creating lasting change.
• Dan Movens, SVP and GM of Parmed Pharmaceutical from Cardinal Health: A company that has a strong connection to PLC, the Partners Leading Change- Institute for Women’s Leadership https://womensleadership.com/partners-leading-change. Cardinal Health hosts diversity classes for employees, and has developed top down approaches for inclusion culture.
• Monica M. Marquez, West Region Inclusiveness & Flexibility Leader from Ernst & Young LLP: Monica Marquez serves as the West Region Diversity Inclusiveness & Flexibility Lead for EY based in Los Angeles. In this role, she develops and implements the firm’s diversity and flexibility initiatives and enhances efforts to attract, retain and promote a diverse, inclusive workforce.
