Athento Begins Operations in Miami to be Closer to the Latin American Market
Miami, FL (PRWEB) November 26, 2013 -- Three years ago, Yerbabuena Software, Inc., the business that created Athento, set up shop in Silicon Valley. Even though it has only been in business for six years, this multi-national corporation, founded in Spain, has broken onto the document capture and management scheme and become a strong presence in the market. While the company has clients on many continents, Latin America is where the development of the company’s growth has been strongest. This is one of the reasons why the company has decided to begin operations in Miami, Florida.
“In addition to the concentration of Spanish-speaking business in the area, the time zone, and the many air connections in the region are some of the most significant reasons that lead us to believe that, from Miami, we can give our Latin American clients better, more effective attention,” says José Luis de la Rosa, the CEO of Yerbabuena Software Inc.
However, these aren’t the only pieces of news that Athento will surprise us with this November. Given the growing demand for technical training, and the demand from users for its product, Athento has unveiled its Athento University program. This program, which contains a variety of Athento-centered courses adapted to different user profiles, is mainly in demand from the network of Athento partners around the world, who see, in Athento, a wide range of business possibilities in the document management and document capture market.
Athento also has a great deal of news regarding its product. The company has released a new service package -SP- which contains improvements to the user interface, more ways to extract bar codes, and a new semantic functionality that allows for automatic grouping of captured documents. This new SP is available to be downloaded from the Athento web page.
