Already intuitive in design, the EventPilot conference app’s updated graphic user interface integrates iOS 7 design principles while maintaining the integrity of the Android platform to appeal to the meeting planner’s entire target audience. “iOS 7 is a radical departure from previous designs by Apple, as a result we wanted to make sure that EventPilot captured the spirit of those changes,” said ATIV’s co-founder, Eric Converse. “We are excited with the results and look forward to building further upon this sophisticated platform.”
In addition to the crisper look and updated icons, the new release includes features to further enhance the industry’s most powerful offline schedule view and other functionality. Medical and scientific conference goers now benefit from grouping a large selection of concurrent abstract and poster presentations in a single timeblock in their personal visual schedule view. Additionally, the new History view in the built-in QR reader gives attendees quick access to previously scanned websites or QR codes linking directly to items, such as scientific research abstracts, within the app. A new Favorites view helps users stay organized with an instant list of all bookmarked items and notes.
