Atlas International Names New President and Chief Operating Officer
Seattle, Wash. (PRWEB) December 27, 2013 -- Atlas International, an affiliate of Atlas Van Lines and a subsidiary of parent company Atlas World Group, Inc., today announces that Jim Gaw has been promoted to president and chief operating officer from his current position as vice president and general manager with an effective date of January 1, 2014.
As one of Atlas World Group’s fastest growing subsidiaries, Atlas International provides quality specialized services for international transportation, distribution and relocation for corporate clients, individuals, families and government agencies to every country on the globe.

In addition, Gaw will enhance future integration with the Atlas World Group organization across multiple platforms while also expanding the overseas network. With these respective duties, Gaw expects to ensure the international operation provides a growing return for stockholders and generates greater shareholder value within the AWG enterprise.

Gaw has held numerous management positions with leading international van lines for the past 15 years. He started his journey at Atlas International in Jan. 2009 as the vice president of business development, assisting Atlas agents in their sales efforts and developing a marketing mix for the international company. Eventually Gaw was promoted to vice president and general manager of Atlas International.

Gaw is a graduate of Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, Ill. He is a former executive committee member of the International Association of Movers, and currently serves as chairman of the American Moving and Storage Association’s International Committee.
