Atlas Logistics Names New Vice President of Business Development
Evansville, Ind. (PRWEB) April 02, 2015 -- Atlas Logistics Inc., a full-service logistics provider and subsidiary of Atlas World Group, Inc., announces today that Matt Van der Linde has rejoined the company as vice president of business development. In his new role, Van der Linde will strategically expand Atlas Logistics’ service offerings to increase revenue and expand operating margins.
For the past year, Van der Linde served as Florida East Coast Railway’s vice president of logistics. Prior to that, he worked as vice president and general manager of Atlas Logistics (formerly known as AWG Logistics, Inc.) from 2012-2014. He also spent over 10 years with The Suddath Companies, holding numerous leadership positions in logistics, relocation and transportation services.
Van der Linde’s areas of expertise include business and strategic development, general management, supply chain solutions development, freight brokerage, carrier development and profit and loss management.
Van der Linde returns to Atlas Logistics during a noteworthy transition period for the company, as it has recently adopted a new brand identity and strategic direction to help to better distinguish the brand. Together with Atlas-affiliated companies, Atlas Logistics now provides a significantly broader suite of padded van fleet, supply chain management, project management and 3PL logistics services to better meet the needs of Atlas customers.
