The 2016 “Salute to the Black Church” will recognize the historical impact and significant contributions the church makes within our communities. Rev. Helen M. Jackson from the Center for Urban Biblical Studies will serve as Mistress of Ceremonies and the evening will be filled with expressions of praise that will include a mime presentation and special recognition given to those who lost their lives at Emanuel AME in Charleston, SC.
