Attorney Matthew Thibaut of Ciklin Lubitz & O’Connell Receives 2015 Pro Bono Employment Law Award
West Palm Beach, Florida (PRWEB) April 29, 2015 -- Ciklin Lubitz & O’Connell (http://www.ciklinlubitz.com) is pleased to announce that partner Matthew Thibaut was selected by the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County as the recipient of the 2015 Employment Law Pro Bono Award.
Mr. Thibaut is one of 10 attorneys recognized with a practice-area specific Pro Bono Law Award. He and other award winners supported the Legal Aid Society’s mission of providing disadvantaged citizens living in Palm Beach County with equal access to the judicial system.

A formal presentation of the awards will be made at the Legal Aid Society's 27th Annual Pro Bono Recognition Evening & Auction, to be held on the evening of Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.
ABOUT MATTHEW THIBAUT
Matthew Thibaut practices in the firm’s Securities Litigation and Employment Law practice groups.
Mr. Thibaut’s securities practice experience includes common law and statutory claims in connection with investments in common stock, bonds, mutual funds, hedge funds, managed money, alternative investments and structured products.
In the area of employment law, Mr. Thibaut has handled cases involving claims of discrimination, defamation, the Family Medical Leave Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act matters. He also negotiates and litigates employment agreements.
Mr. Thibaut is active in business and human resources organizations, and was recently selected as an academy fellow in The Florida Bar’s Leadership Academy for Diversity & Inclusion. He also serves on the Securities Law and Employment Law Committees of the Palm Beach County Bar Association.
He earned his law degree from the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University and was licensed to practice law in Florida in 2001.
