Austin Fit Body Boot Camp Announces Grand Opening; Outreach Event Involves Community
Austin, TX (PRWEB) November 20, 2014 -- A Grand Opening celebration event will be held on Saturday, December 13th from 2pm-5pm at the Austin Fit Body Boot Camp, located at 11190 Circle Dr. Unit 450 Building #4, Austin, TX 78736. The event will commemorate the opening of the newest Fit Body Boot Camp, the world’s fastest growing and most popular indoor fitness boot camp.
The new location will offer local residents an entirely exclusive experience, unmatched in any other fitness or exercise environment. The fast growing and record breaking fitness franchise is an indoor fitness boot camp specializing in cutting edge training techniques that shed fat while building muscle.
The location’s owner, Scott Portney, is an already established local fitness expert who owns and operates the personal training business Portney Peak Performance. With a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Indiana University and years of experience helping local residents achieve their fitness goals, he has opened this fitness boot camp to expand his influence and help more Austin residents than previously possible.
“I started training part time after working a sales job for seven years,” says Portney when asked what inspired him to work in the fitness industry. “It was at that time in my life when I realized that fitness and helping others’ achieve their goals is my true passion. I moved to Austin so that I might pursue my passion for teaching fitness and my dream was to bring an indoor Boot Camp to the area.”
Portney explains why the new location is so important to the Austin community: “The only similar experiences available in this area are outdoor boot camps where clients are forced to deal with weather conditions and are required to bring their own expensive equipment. I wanted to make joining and using my facility as easy as possible, so I created a setting that is inviting to all members of the community. At Fit Body Boot Camp, no one must contend with the weather or purchase equipment, they simply arrive at boot camp, get great instruction, lose weight, and build muscle.”
The Grand Opening will be held at the Austin Fit Body Boot Camp location and will feature multiple events. There will be two 15-minute demonstrations displaying the effectiveness and uniqueness of the Fit Body Boot Camp exercise instruction. Multiple local businesses are participating in the event and the Dripping Springs Volunteer Fire department will also be showing their support for the fitness center. A raffle with exciting prizes will be held with all proceeds being donated to the Dripping Springs Volunteer Fire Department. A face painter and free fire engine rides will provide fun and excitement for patrons and their children.
