Author Applies ‘Missing Key’ to Life, Reaps Benefits

Woods defines this missing key as a two-part rule; he says God must be primary in life at all times and people must surrender everything to God. During his prior hunt for instant gratification, Woods says he felt God wanted him to experience the ups and downs of addiction to test his strength of faith. When he found God, Woods says he felt compelled to write “A Song for the Lonely.”
Woods hopes that by sharing his life’s struggles with addiction, he will help others become aware of, and alter, their own self-destructive behaviors.
