Author Elaine Stienon Announces Radio Interview With Stu Taylor
ANN ARBOR, Mich. (PRWEB) September 25, 2015 -- Author Elaine Stienon recently spoke with nationally syndicated business radio talk-show host Stu Taylor about her 2004 historical novel, “In Clouds of Fire: a story of community” (published by AuthorHouse). Stienon’s interview will soon be available for live-stream or download at http://www.toginet.com.
Stienon is a repeat interviewer with Taylor, having spoken with him in April 2014 about her book, “The Way to the Shining City: A Story of the Early Mormons in Missouri and Nauvoo Illinois.” In their most recent interview, Taylor referred to Stienon as a “pride” of his show and “very articulate, eloquent and skilled.”
“In Clouds of Fire” is one of Stienon’s three books about the history of the early Mormons. Love, violence and death on the American frontier play equal parts in this story about the early Mormons’ search for peace and freedom from persecution.
In this book, Nathaniel, a young man from a Shaker background, has promised to help a Mormon woman, Hannah, and her brother get safely from Ohio to Missouri. In Missouri, Hannah’s fiancé, Dan, is building a cabin. Despite his determination to assist, Nathaniel finds himself falling in love with Hannah; his dilemma is made worse by the journey’s trials and the threat of persecution.
Through careful use of historical facts, Stienon hopes to teach readers about the history of the early Mormons through an enjoyable love story.
