JoAnne is a first-time novelist with over twenty years of experience in the global cruise industry. A passionate cruise aficionado, she became hooked on cruising during the first twenty-four hours of her very first cruise and remains so today. Another of her passions is creative writing, which she uses as an outlet for some of her more colorful dreams. In fact, "Vanishing Angle" was the result of a dream that didn’t fade in the light of day, and once the initial thought was put to paper, took on a life of its own. In writing the story, her goal was to give readers an insight into the life of those who work on board cruise ships as well as weave an interesting tale that would keep the reader involved and guessing what the final outcome would be. Thrown together again, secrets from the past and long-held resentments begin unveiling themselves, secrets that could hold the key to who Ali’s stalker is and the accidents happening on the ship. As the crew band together to protect Ali and do their own investigating, several potential suspects emerge, including some within their innermost circle. Things draw to a close with a dramatic confrontation on deck and what
seems to be an uncertain future for Ali and Carlos.
