Immediately after surrendering his life to Jesus, John started working in his churches street and gang outreach ministries as a soul winner, he was also a faithful member of the church’s guerilla team ministry. These were teams of young men and women who would travel to various churches and ministries throughout California, Arizona, and Nevada and help young pastors evangelize and do outreaches for their pioneer churches. John also served as a lay pastor, leading home groups and home Bible studies, teaching the Tommy Barnett Saturday soul-winning curriculum, and he has also been a children’s Sunday school teacher and outdoors sidewalk Sunday school leader, using the Bill Wilson sidewalk Sunday school curriculum. John is an ordained minister of the gospel; he has pastored several churches and is now serving as an Evangelist and CEO of Heart Aflame Evangelistic Ministries in Perris, California. John is also an author and has hosted a weekly radio show called A Heart Aflame. He believes the Word of God should be preached with power and the supernatural outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
