Author Lenorma Poindexter’s Newly Released “No Way Out” is a Personal Story that Reminds Readers God Saves those Who Call Upon Him in their Time of Need
(PRWEB) October 30, 2017 -- “No Way Out” is the creation of published author, Lenorma Poindexter. Lenorma was born on a small farm in Mississippi. Her parents were sharecroppers. Her father raised and sold vegetables to help supplement the family’s income. Lenorma, the youngest of four siblings, loved to sing even as a child. She started singing in church at the age of ten. Later in her life, she would develop her gift, which took her into the field of R&B Music. Due to her mother’s prayers, she started singing and writing gospel songs. She has been and continues to be an evangelist who teaches the word of God all over.
“I thank my God for saving us that morning and for having mercy on us. My son, Michael Kenneth, is forty-seven years old as of the writing of this book. And he has been married to the same woman for more than twenty years! He and his wife, Carolyn, have four handsome sons, Michael Jr., Jonathan, Benjamin, and Justin, and they have one granddaughter, whose name is Myriah.” --Lenorma Poindexter
Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Lenorma Poindexter’s new book shares the story of how God saves those who call on Him in their time of need.
“When you call to me, I will answer. I will be with you when you are in trouble. I will save you and honor you” (Psalm 91:15).
It was the winter of 1969 in Freeport, Illinois. Trapped on the second floor of a burning building, God saved author Lenorma Poindexter, her unborn child, and her seventy-five-year-old grandmother. Awakened by the noise of running footsteps coming from downstairs, she opened her bedroom door to see what was happening. The heat and smoke forced her to immediately shut the door.
She called across the hall to her grandmother who told her to get out as she jumped out of her own window. The only window in Lenorma’s room was stuck. She was trapped. She called on the name of the Lord to save her baby. She touched the window and it suddenly flew open. She jumped out that window knowing it was the Lord who saved her.
