Machael David is a US citizen who was born in Nigeria. He grew up playing soccer as a way to cope with poverty and avoid gang life. He graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara where he was a star student-athlete on and off the field. After two good years of soccer in college, injury stole his junior and senior seasons. In 2013, he was drafted regardless of his injuries by Colorado Rapid to play professional soccer, but he could not continue playing due to his injuries. In 2014, he had a vision about his deliverance from poverty and sexual addiction. Two years later, he founded Angels of the World to inspire the next generation of kids living in poverty to never give up.
