(PRWEB) January 20, 2017 -- “Code Word: Chocolate Biscuit”: a biographical account following a man who went on to support his country and serve the Lord. “Code Word: Chocolate Biscuit” is the creation of published author, Marlyn Ivey, born in Lynn Haven, Florida and at the age of 5, his family moved to Pensacola Florida. In Pensacola, he went to school and at 19 years of age, he joined the Navy and got married right out of boot camp.
He and his wife raised three boys and between the 3 boys, they had 7 grandchildren. Now the grandchildren think Marlyn is some type of hero because of the travels and the stories they have been told by their dads. Marlyn has been in some tough areas of the world due to wars our nation has been involved with. Marlyn and Sue just celebrated 50 years of marriage in May of 2015. They now live in Alabama where Marlyn has turned his job into a hobby. At the age of 70, he continues to work for a government contractor and when he goes to work in the morning, he is doing what he likes to do.

This story is about a child that was voted by his 4th grade teacher to be the most unlikely person to be successful in life. As he gets older, he joins the military, gets married and becomes very successful in his career even though he retained a personal secret deep inside from everyone. Some of the secrets he will have to take to the grave, as do most individuals who worked for the United States government. The child grows up and becomes a negotiator for the United States during the war while in Bosnia. Throughout his life, he realizes God is on his side and the many blessings in his life proves God over and over. This title, "Code Word: Chocolate Biscuit", is mentioned throughout the book as it brings back memories of life, both childhood and adult.
