Author Priscilla Davis tells readers ‘It’s All about the Change’
ST. GEORGE, Utah (PRWEB) July 16, 2014 -- After making many bad life choices, author Priscilla Davis made the conscious decision to return to her first love – Jesus Christ. She shares her journey and offers a selection of devotionals and passages from Scripture for readers making similar life changes in her new book, “It's All about the Change: One Day at a Time” (published by WestBow Press).
Written in a casual, conversational style, “It's All about the Change” is presented as a daily study of God’s word intended to bring readers closer to him. Each daily devotional is accompanied by a selection of suggested Scriptures which readers are encouraged to read and take time to journal their thoughts on the day’s lesson.
“The process of change is slow, which is the reason daily seeking of the Lord is such an essential element in the change,” Davis says. “His Word tells us over and over to seek Him and we will find Him. His Word never fails.”
An excerpt from “It's All about the Change”:
“Jeremiah 29:11-13 (HCSB)
For I know the plans I have for you’—this is the LORD’S declaration—‘plans for your welfare, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. You will call to me and come pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.”
