Rachel studied accounting at Guilford Technical College in Jamestown, NC and Patrick Henry College in Martinsville, Va. Rachel was also trained in Inductive Bible Study at Precepts International in Tennessee. She received crisis intervention training from her local CONTACT USA chapter as well as the American Association of Christian Counselors. Her writing is inspired by personal experiences, especially those things that touch her heart. She loves Southern Gospel music and likes to sew. She is a widow with three grown daughters and eight grandchildren.
