Following the end of the war, two young soliders find themselves behind enemy lines. Through their escape in the French Woods, they discover a hidden treasure – one which could dramatically change their lives. Unbeknownst to them, this will guide their lives, as well as the lives of their children for the next six decades.
What follows is a fast-paced adventure including greed, romance, murder and more. The story progresses all through Europe and more.
“This book provides the reader a look at the effect of greed, society and complicated family relationships over generations following World War II,” a reviewer wrote in a five-star review of “The Tangled Web.” “Though present actions described by a host of well-developed characters, interwoven with glimpses of earlier actions by senior family members and their accomplices, one grasps the complex intricacies of the plot of this novel.”
