ANACORTES, Wash. (PRWEB) July 23, 2015 -- The new fantasy fiction from author Tia Austin, “Haven’s Light: Sequel to Haven’s Key” (published by AuthorHouse), comes as the second in a planned series of books centered on the goings-on in Haven, a mysterious city of light.
Protagonist Brace is experiencing big changes in his life. He was a long-time thief, used to solely depending on himself and never looking to others for help to get what he wanted. Now that he’s made Haven his home, his fugitive past seems to be behind him until Haven’s long-hidden mysteries come to the surface.
Brace must consult with the cohabitants of his new home in order to decode Haven’s secrets. He is aided in his endeavors by Tassie, the deaf woman he has fallen in love with; Ovard, a wise elder who raised Tassie and 13-year-old Jair – a boy who has a mystical bond with the city of Haven; and Zorix, a color-changing animal who can mentally communicate with others in his clan.
“The theme of hope that runs throughout the series is one that anyone can appreciate,” Austin says. “Everyone needs to know that their life has meaning and purpose, and I hope readers will take from what the characters are experiencing and be able to apply those things to their own lives.”
