Author Tony Bethel Launches New Marketing Campaign for 2003 Book
VILLA PARK, Ill. (PRWEB) April 27, 2015 -- Author Tony Bethel is launching a new online marketing campaign for his 2003 book, “Love, War, and Other White Lies: A Poetic Diary of Love, War and Other Topics” (published by AuthorHouse).
Bethel’s third book is an exercise of his right to free speech and expression guaranteed by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. Through honest, emotional poems, Bethel shares his response to life experiences and life lessons, and he contemplates life and death, endless wars and their true origins, and the failure of relationships such as marriage.
“My book was inspired by the white lies we tell loved ones, the white lies our government tells us and an untruth that the U.S. is involved in the war,” Bethel says. “Regardless of what we tell others, the truth will come out.”
An excerpt from “Love, War, and Other White Lies”:
“It is my opinion that love and war have many similarities. The passion in which we love may be compared to the passion in which we fight. The effort we give to individuals may be compared to the effort put forth in individual battles. The small lies we tell to put us in good favor with a potential lover may be compared to the small twists in truth that our own government gives in relation to political issues.”
