Author Vito Santos Takes Readers on a Journey toward Redemption
New Jersey (PRWEB) October 09, 2013 -- Can a person break free from his past? This is the question that debut author Vito Santos examines in “Wasted Lives.” In this eye-opening and brutally honest memoir, Santos looks back to his dark childhood and more importantly, talks about his extraordinary journey out of a vicious cycle of violence.
Born in 1948, Santos’ grew up in a family that was entangled in a life of crime and poverty. In his book, he recalls several devastating episodes that happened to him in his early years, including family members facing serious jail time. His memoir, however, does not dwell on Santos’ tarnished past; it follows him in his quest to recover and find freedom.
With conviction and courage, Santos guides readers on a journey from guilt to redemption, from suffering to true healing and from loss to victory. He shows how, in the midst of hardship and difficulties, he found strength and the wisdom to transcend his past.
Now in his sixties, Santos is proud to say that he is content. He has suffered many blows but also he has learned to roll with the punches. His painful experiences have all but destroyed him. Ultimately, these difficulties helped him emerge stronger, wiser and victorious.
Can a person break free from his past? Santos’s life and story is proof that indeed anyone can. “Wasted Lives” is a triumphant testament of the indomitable human spirit; it is shocking, inspiring and most of all, it is true.
