Authors renew 2014 marketing push for ‘The Putz Family in DeJaVille Mother Putz Moves In’
COVINA, Calif. (PRWEB) April 21, 2014 -- As a professional voice-over artist, Robin Lee Kreitzer created a number of fun and quirky cartoon characters. Together with co-author Nancy Jo Blake, she showcases these colorful personalities in their new children’s book, “The Putz Family in DeJaVille Mother Putz Moves In” (published by AuthorHouse).
“From time to time we all love to reminisce about a part of our life,” Kreitzer says. “This story will captivate the attention of all ages for different reasons.”
DeJaVille is a small town reminiscent of the 1950s and ’60s. When Pauline Putz and her German shepherd move to DeJaVille to live in a house behind her son, Bernard, and his family, their arrival brings fun and excitement to Bernard’s quiet life. He gets himself in hilarious situations that involve, among other things, a toilet plunger, a hot dog and a nosy neighbor.
An excerpt from “The Putz Family in DeJaVille Mother Putz Moves In”:
“While the kids were having a nice visit with Grandma Putz Bernard and Oliver were sitting at the picnic table starting to enjoy their food. Wouldn’t you know it Bernard bit into his hot dog then it slipped out of the bottom of the bun ricocheted off his big toe and into his pompadour.”
