Automatic Foot Shower Keeps Beach Resorts Clean For 10 Years

Franklin estimates that Surf Splash has also conserved trillions of gallons of water over the last decade. An independent water test conducted at Bay View Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC, showed that a single Surf Splash unit saved approximately 600 gallons of water per day compared to a hose bib that was in use prior to installation of the unit. Ronnis Revis, the chief engineer who conducted the test, estimated an annual savings of 150,000 gallons at this one property.
In 2013, the company introduced the Surf Splash II, a smaller, portable version of the foot shower for beach homes, pools, large boats and RVs.
