Automotive Enthusiasts Rally to Raise Funds for Hope For The Warriors®
Knoxville, TN (PRWEB) July 13, 2015 -- Hope For The Warriors® is the beneficiary of the CJ Pony Parts Smoky Mountain Rally 2015. This year’s rally will begin on July 14, 2015, in Knoxville, TN, and finish in Savannah, GA on July 16, 2015, as the group travels along the scenic Smoky Mountains. The rally has already raised over $100,000 for Hope For The Warriors®, a national nonprofit organization that assists combat wounded service members, their families, and families of the fallen.
The event was established in 2009 by Rally North America (RNA), (http://www.rallynorthamerica.com), a nonprofit organization aimed at bringing automotive enthusiasts from all over the United States and Canada together for the purpose of auto rallying. Each rally organized by RNA carries a similar theme—driving for a cause by combining the love of the automotive lifestyle with a worthy charity organization.
“Hope For The Warriors® is honored to be the beneficiary of this great event which will help further our mission of restoring self, restoring the family unit, and restoring hope for our service members and our military families,” said Robin Kelleher, President of Hope For The Warriors®. “We are thrilled to grow our outreach within these communities and grateful to all supporters for impacting our military nationwide.”
The CJ Pony Parts Smoky Mountain Rally 2015 begins on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 in Knoxville, Tennessee and will make 48 stops along the historical and scenic Smoky Mountains before ending on Thursday, July 16 in Savannah, Georgia.
