Automotive Safety System Invented by InventHelp Client (IPL-151)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) August 25, 2015 -- Have you ever panicked when you're driving and hear an emergency siren because you're not sure how to clear the road for the high-speed vehicle? Well, thanks to an inventor from Indianapolis, Ind., you can now pinpoint the direction from which the vehicle is approaching.
He developed Early Warning Device to enable a driver to detect a siren of an approaching emergency vehicle within a predetermined distance range. As such, it first warns drivers that an emergency vehicle is approaching and helps them identify where it is coming from. As a result, it gives motorists the opportunity to pull to the side or completely off the road to let the first responder pass. It, therefore, promotes greater automotive safety by reducing the chance of collisions with high-speed vehicles. It is also easy for the driver to see, hear and operate despite distractions like music playing and people talking. In addition, it is convenient, practical and affordably priced.
The inventor's personal observation inspired the idea. "I was concerned with the high incidence of accidents involving emergency vehicles," he said. "To avoid accidents, drivers need to be warned of where the vehicle is and in which direction it is traveling as soon as possible."
The original design was submitted to the Indianapolis office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
