Avalara Certifies Connectors for Infor XA and IBM iSeries

Previously, Infor users managed sales tax compliance on various ERP platforms or through Avalara's Sales Tax II product, an on-premise sales tax solution. iSeries users were limited to custom, on-premise solutions for sales tax compliance. Both systems typically required additional IT support and ongoing updates to remain compliant with ever-changing sales tax regulations.
Avalara’s new AvaTax sales tax calculation connectors for Infor XA and iSeries alleviates the need for ongoing and/or additional support by delivering a cloud-based solution that provides more functionality for a user’s accounting department while reducing sales tax management responsibilities for IT. With AvaTax Calc, all data changes and updates are automatically handled in the cloud, including rules, rates and boundaries changes.
Avalara also offers an IBM iSeries software development kit (SDK) that allows users to develop a robust report generator for legacy and in-house AS/400 based ERPs. This Avalara-created SDK provides users with a quick and easy way to integrate with a long list of established business management systems.
Both connectors also provide access to AvaTax Returns, which can automatically process e-file, hard-copy and Streamlined Sales Tax returns for businesses of all sizes.
