Avalon Biomed Inc. Launches a Stainproof Bioceramic for Dentistry
BRADENTON, Fla. NeoMTA Plus is a tricalcium silicate-based bioactive cement for vital pulp and other endodontic indications in primary and permanent teeth. Unlike other cements, NeoMTA Plus won’t discolor primary teeth. Even common liquids applied prior to application, such as sodium hypochlorite solution, will not cause staining. NeoMTA Plus is non-cytotoxic and inhibits bacterial growth of common bacteria.
The product’s bioceramic formula triggers the healing process with the precipitation of hydroxyapatite in vivo. General dentists, endodontists, and pediatric dentists now have a superior and affordable bioceramic. Two sizes are offered in the USA and Canada (2.5 and 7 gm kits). One-, two- and six-gram kits are offered outside of North America.
