Avamere Transitional Care and Rehabilitation – Brighton Has Received Full QAPI Accreditation
Brighton, Colorado (PRWEB) June 26, 2014 -- The Avamere Family of Companies is proud to announce that Avamere Transitional Care and Rehabilitation – Brighton has met the four rigorous standards of excellence outlined in the Providigm QAPI Accreditation Program.
The Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) accreditation is based on four data-driven standards that measure the transitional care center’s use of Providigm’s abaqis® system, a tool used to improve survey results and compliance with federal regulations.
“Our clinicians and support staff work diligently to live out the Avamere mission to enhance the life of every person they serve,” says Gwynn Rucker, Regional Director of Operations. “This achievement is a reflection of our commitment to providing quality post-acute transitional care and rehabilitation services.”
According to Providigm’s website, QAPI Accreditation is contingent “on four standards that are evaluated quarterly for a period comprising the preceding twelve months (four quarters).” These standards are:
1. Comprehensive review of past assessments
2. Continuous survey performance
3. Coverage of resident feedback
4. Corrective action during the improvement process
Avamere Transitional Care and Rehabilitation joins 16 other Avamere Family of Companies transitional and rehabilitation centers in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Colorado to reach this achievement.
