Award-Winning Craft Distillery Will Be Available in 10 New States Starting in February 2018
PURCELLVILLE, Va. (PRWEB) January 24, 2018 -- Catoctin Creek Distilling Company announces a major expansion of the brand nationally, adding 10 new states to the distribution map for the company, growing the footprint for the company to 25 states and the District of Columbia. The craft distillery’s growth comes, in part, because of the decision by Total Wine to carry the entire line of Catoctin Creek products in their retail stores nationwide.
Located in northern Virginia’s scenic Loudoun Valley, Catoctin Creek uses local and organic ingredients to produce a variety of small-batch craft spirits, including Roundstone Rye, which holds distinction as Virginia’s most-awarded whisky, and Braddock Oak Rye, available at Total Wine stores nationwide.
In addition, Total Wine, the country’s largest independent retailer of fine wine, will carry three additional products in Catoctin Creek’s portfolio: Roundstone Rye – 92 Proof, Roundstone Rye – Cask Proof, and Watershed Gin.

In March, Catoctin’s chief distiller and founder Becky Harris will be a featured guest of the Total Wine Livestream, where customers of 61 Total Wine stores across the country will have the opportunity to meet Becky, hear her speak about Catoctin Creek products, and enjoy a tasting. Becky is being highlighted for her role as one of the very few female chief distillers in the spirits industry.
"Over the past few years, we've significantly grown our barrel inventory," remarked Becky Harris, founder and chief distiller. "Along with the acquisition of the new warehouse space in 2017, we have been planning this expansion for quite some time now. Our improvements in production are now fully online, so we're absolutely ready for this move into new states."
