Award-Winning Grandmother Inspires Grandson to Write New Children’s Book
CINCINNATI (PRWEB) October 09, 2017 -- CINCINNATI (Oct. 9, 2017) – Inspired by his award-winning grandmother, author and executive recruiter Chuck Aardema has published his first children’s book, entitled “In My World.”
The lively children’s book tells a whimsical tale of a place where everything is colorfully different from reality.
Images of monkeys with feathers, singing groundhogs, and whales climbing trees create a delightful experience for young readers who won’t believe what they’re seeing.
Aardema’s grandmother, Verna, inspired him to dive into the world of children’s books. During her writing career, she authored over 30 children’s books, including “Why Mosquitoes Buzz in People’s Ears.” The book won a Caldecott Medal in 1976.
“Not only does my grandmother motivate my writing,” says Aardema, “but I’m also inspired by my younger grandson; in his mind, he lives in a world where anything is possible.”
“This book is very different from other kid’s books, which is nice for parents,” a review wrote about the book. “The book encourages imagination in a world where anything is possible!”
An engaging book for all imaginative readers young and old, “In My World” is a colorful and inspirational book that shows children the world in an entirely new way.
