AWG Logistics Names New Vice President and General Manager
Evansville, Ind. (PRWEB) March 28, 2014 -- AWG Logistics, Inc., a subsidiary of Atlas World Group, Inc., today announces the promotion of seasoned industry veteran Phil Wahl to vice president and general manager, which he is assuming in addition to his current position as vice president of Avail Resource Management, Inc., another subsidiary of Atlas World Group, Inc. Wahl is a 25-year employee of the company who takes over in assisting a broad suite of logistics services to Atlas customers, while continuing to have responsibility within the Avail division.

Having served the company for a quarter century, Wahl has prospered in a variety of positions, with a majority of his experience in the Specialized Transportation Group (STG) of Atlas Van Lines, Inc. Since 2008, Wahl has served as the vice president of Avail Resource Management where he has been responsible for Atlas’ military program while also providing move management services to the Atlas agency network and leading relationship management for several national accounts.
In his new role, Wahl is helping lead the team in creating innovative technological advances while also focusing on sustainable growth and top-of-the-line logistics services. Additionally, he now oversees the STG, an asset-based, less-than-truckload division of Atlas.
