Burlington, Massachuetts (PRWEB) March 16, 2016 -- Axial Benefits Group, a national employee benefits firm based in Massachusetts, has officially partnered with the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) business development affiliate, Community Health Ventures (CHV), to pilot a new Value in Benefits (ViB) Program.
Through the ViB program, community health centers will have the ability to purchase health insurance benefits through a group purchasing coalition designed by Axial. The coalition was developed to enable Health Centers to essentially band together, using their collective size to buy health insurance together, to mimic the predictability and bulk buying power of larger single companies.
“Using our unique model, health centers can bulk purchase their health insurance, limit the risk and increase overall predictability thus, lowering costs,” said Mick Rodgers, Axial’s Managing Partner and driving force behind the newly formed relationship. He added, “It comes down to a simple strength in numbers concept – one in which we’ve worked with successfully for various clients and purchasing coalitions since 2009.”
Danny Hawkins, Senior Vice President of Community Health Ventures added, “Since I joined CHV in 2001, I’ve heard many health center leaders express their desire that we develop a program – using this same principle – to help lower cost in providing employee benefits. Today, I’m excited to announce our efforts to do just that!”
CHV plans on rolling out more information on this alliance in mid-March at NACHC’s Policy and Issues Forum in Washington, DC. In the interim, those Health Centers that are looking for more information can visit http://www.axialco.com/nachc or email mrodgers(at)axialbg(dot)com.

About Axial’s Healthcare Purchasing Coalitions
Smaller and midsize companies experience insurance risks which are less predictable than risks large organizations face. Through Axial’s Healthcare Coalition, NACHC members are able to join with other like-minded health centers to create a pool of employees large enough to mimic the predictability of a large employer. While individual centers purchase each health care component based on their own needs, there is safety in numbers when part of a larger group.
