Provo, Utah (PRWEB) January 28, 2015 -- Axle Creek, a modern classic rock and country band, announced they are releasing their debut album, The Journey Home on January 28, 2015.
The album, The Journey Home, includes ten original compositions that have a classic rock feel, but the band often blends blues and country into the mix — there is a strong country vibe on the slower songs. Randy Porter’s vocals deliver a texture reminiscent of Bob Seger, Sammy Hagar from AC/DC, Nickleback, and the Zac Brown Band.

About Axle Creek:
Axle Creek has worked on their debut album, "The Journey Home" for over two years. On January 17, the band received an Online Film Award for “Best Music Video” at the film festival held at the Infinity Center in Salt Lake City, Utah for their music video "Soldiers' Sacrifice" - a patriotic song that focuses on the sacrifices the men and women of the United States military make to keep the United States free. The film was shown at the event with other productions.

“Axle Creek did a fantastic job on the video and song, “said Warren Workman, CEO of Workman Productions and lead reviewer for the Online Film Awards. “The message sizzles with meaning and highlights an important issue we are facing in America today.” Soldiers’ Sacrifice is the third track on the debut album, "The Journey Home".
Carey added, "The creative process is often sparked by the things we encounter in our world, the choices we make, and the resulting experiences they bring into our lives."
