Axon Set to Break £1.8 Million Sales Barrier
Macclesfield, Cheshire (PRWEB UK) 17 December 2013 -- Macclesfield based IT solutions firm Axon has today predicted a 62.8% sales increase based on the first six months of trading, taking revenues from £1,136,132 in 2012 - 2013 to a projected £1,850,000 for 2013 – 2014. This growth comes on the back of a change of direction for the company which adapted its business model to become a specialist in cloud computing and virtual solutions in 2010.
Axon’s customer base increased by 100% and staffing levels by a third in 2013, a year which also saw the business undergo a full rebrand and £100,000 investment in a relocation to larger premises in Macclesfield increasing office space from 800 to 2500 square foot.
The company was also awarded Best Use of Technology in Business last month at the Cheshire Silk 106.9 Local Hero Awards.
Graham Fern, technical director and co-owner of Axon commented: “Upon making the decision to become a cloud specialist we retrained all of our engineers and sales staff to become experts in cloud solutions – including both Microsoft’s cloud offering - Office 365 - and our own bespoke virtual solutions.
“In January 2011 we became the first business in the North West to be awarded Microsoft Gold Partner status with virtualisation competency, followed in July 2011 by the title of Microsoft Cloud Accelerate Partner, meaning we were first company in the region to be endorsed by Microsoft as a cloud specialist. It’s rewarding to see all of these efforts now paying off.”
