ADDISON, Ill. (PRWEB) October 25, 2016 -- B2B Industrial Packaging just announced the high tech packaging products they will be showcasing at PACK EXPO Nov. 6-9 at Chicago’s McCormick Place. Among the products are:

  • Signode’s Mod GPX modular strapping machine. This is the only machine of its kind on the market and B2B Industrial Packaging will be the only exhibitor featuring it. The Mod GPX is a semi-automatic plastic strapping machine with a modular design-- three modules for tensioning, sealing, and power--so it minimizes downtime and minimizes maintenance. All the user has to do is unplug the module, plug in a new one, and send the first module to B2B Industrial Packaging for repair. This means it can be up and running again without any tools. The Mod GPX is made in America.
  • Two Signode GripPack battery-operated steel strapping tools. These are the first battery-operated steel strapping tools and B2B Industrial Packaging will be the only exhibitor showcasing these items. The GripPack double notch sealer and the GripPack tensioner are both available in 3/4” and 1-1/4” steel strapping versions. Both are battery operated, rather than pneumatic, eliminating the need for air hoses. This means these portable tools can be used in any packaging environment.
  • The FROMM P329 battery-powered plastic strapping tool. This is a powerful tooI that has a tension force up to 4000 N/900 pounds and accommodates strapping widths up to 19 mm (3/4”). It is available as a one-button tool that operates automatically as well as a two-button tool for all strapping dimensions.

Other products B2B Industrial Packaging will feature include Sigma stretch film, Klinch-Pak carton closing tools and staples, BestPack tape and tape equipment, and Carolina GatorStrap.

PACK EXPO International is the world’s largest processing and packaging show, with 2,100 exhibiting companies occupying nearly 1.2 million net square feet. Organizers expect about 50,000 attendees with representatives from 40 vertical markets and 7,000 international buyers from 130 countries. PACK EXPO allows attendees to see technologies in motion, meet with packaging suppliers, explore technology for their industry and explore ideas from other markets.
